Fortune Cookies for "Venice is not sinking" anthology
A short story written for an anthology of Venice stories for the "Venice is not sinking" project. This story has been translated into Italian and the book will be released with a DVD of short films by video artists from all over the world participating in this project.
Synopsis: A courtesan in present day has a habit of leaving paper notes all around the alleys of Venice, with facts and anecdotes of this magical city. She runs out of inspiration and decides to visit the priest in the nearby friari to ask him for some confessions of the people of Venice. A strange friendship is forged between them. One day, she decides to quit her profession, she sold her appartment in the former notorious red light district 'Ponte delle tette' (translates: bridge of the female breasts) and bought over a cafe to start a fortune cookie/poetry concept cafe with little notes of facts, anecdotes and characters.
